Phase I Morgan Library Redesign NOW COMPLETE!

Thanks to the generosity of private donors and a substantial gift of $418,000 from the students of CSU through the University Facility Fee, Morgan Library is on the road to expanding its reputation as the place to study.

This part of our Morgan Library Redesign Project revitalized many areas within the library building including:

  • A completely refurbished Morgan Library Computer Lab, housing the largest computing center on campus with 330 desktop computers
  • New furniture throughout the Morgan Library’s study galleries including 492 new 2- position study chairs, 16 new lounge chairs/couches, 20 new computer research stations, and 100 new tables to accommodate 4-6 students working in collaborative groups
  • Six new group study rooms including 2 high-tech presentation rooms for students to work on multimedia presentations and assignments (Locate a room! First Floor or Second Floor)

Along with drastically improving and updating study areas within the Morgan Library, this phase of the redesign added 200 additional seats to the Morgan Library . Thanks for your support!
