Nature 1869 Is.1On Campus User: With the Libraries recent purchase of the archival files, from 1869 to 1949, of the publication Nature, the International Weekly Journal of Science, CSU now has online desktop access to the entire Nature collection from volume one to the present. Generating thousands of citations a year, Nature has been one of the most respected scientific journals since the last half of the Nineteenth century.

The new site license will allow access to download in pdf format, exiciting historic Nature publications including the first article Nature: Aphorisms by Goethe the orginal article by T. H. Huxley, dated November 4, 1869. This teaching tool and resource is now available at your fingertips through Nature.com, when connected to the Morgan Library server.

Here are different ways you can access the Nature Journal archives.

Off Campus User: Off Campus users will be prompted to the Libraries authentication login screen prior to viewing articles. You will be asked to enter your name, CSU ID, and PIN. Help with off-campus access is available at: http://lib.colostate.edu/users/distance/faq.html.
