Laptops


Laptops may be checked out for six hours by CSU students, faculty, and staff upon presentation of a valid picture ID (CSU ID, State ID, License, or Passport). Laptops have a wireless connection to the internet and may be used in the Library wherever there is an electrical outlet. Printing is available through the Library Uni-Print system (requires a copy card) and provides the following programs for use:

  • Microsoft Office XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer
  • FTP (file transfer protocol)
  • Adobe Reader
  • Telnet
  • PrintKey (screen capture & graphic manipulation)
  • Messenger
  • Quicktime

All laptops have a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive and are USB Flash Memory compatible.
