This is probably our most Frequently Asked Question! The good news is your password is so secure, even ILL staff don't know what it is. However, they can reset it to a temporary password to allow you to access your ILLiad account. Once you are in you can reset it to whatever you wish with the Change Password Button toward the bottom of the first screen after login. You might also want to make use of the password hint box at the lower left corner of the Change Password screen.
Most items have a 6 week loan period from the time we receive them. Interlibrary Loan materials are not renewable and may be recalled by the lending library at any time. Some formats such as videos, CDs, microfilm, bound journals and old or rare books may have a shorter loan period or only be available for use in the library.
Many articles arrive within 24 hours of being requested. Some more obscure journals may take us a week or two to obtain the article.
Books typically take a week to ten days to arrive. Try the Prospector service first. The Prospector catalog is a group of Colorado libraries and items requested through this service frequently arrive within 3 or 4 working days.
Books may be mailed to your home or office address that you specify on your ILLiad profile.
If you are at a branch library, either Veterinary Medical Center or the Atmospheric Science Library, interlibrary loan books will be delivered to that branch by the library courier the next day after receipt. You may also wish to pick up your books at the Morgan Library Loan and Reserve Desk. ILLiad will send you an email to let you know your book has arrived and is ready for pickup at either Morgan or the branch library of your choice.
Articles are posted to our server called Webview. You will receive an email when they are available. You simply log into your ILLiad account and choose the Webview button to retrieve them. We store articles for 3 months on the server or you may download them to your local computer.
