Databases

MathSciNet (1940-present) - MathSciNet is a comprehensive database covering the world's mathematical literature since 1940. FindIt Button

Web of Science (1900-present) - The Web of Science provides access to articles from approximately 8,500 of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world. The database includes the Science Citation Index, and there are a variety of search options.FindIt Button

Current Index to Statistics - A bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields. References are drawn from 162 core journals (as of 2003) that are fully indexed, non-core journals from which articles are selected that have statistical content, proceedings and edited books, and other sources. Note: This database is chronically out of date!

Electronic Journals

A comprehensive list of the CSU’s electronic journals is located at: http://lib.colostate.edu/sfx/ejournals/. (There is also a link to the list on the library’s menu bar). This list can be browsed by title, or if you have a complete citation, you can type the relevant information into the Citation Linker, which is capable of linking directly to a specific article.

Both the e-journal list and the Citation Linker are powered by a technology called FindIt (SFX) ("special effects"). FindIt (SFX) is a pathfinder to the full text that is available at CSU, and FindIt (SFX) button can also be found in some of our databases.

Electronic Resources

Cornell Library Historical Mathematics Monographs - Collection of selected monographs with expired copyrights chosen from the mathematics field.

Directory of Mathematics Preprint and e-Print Servers

Mathematics Archives - The archive is a collection of links to sites that are of interest to mathematicians. Resources available through these links include electronic journals, preprint services, grant information, and publishers of mathematical software, texts, and journals. Other areas, ranging from laboratory notebooks and problem sets to lecture notes and reports on innovative methods, are also included.
